Be Strong and of Good Courage...

Cody,

The many who have cheered for you in prayer have received this on your behalf:
"Be of good courage." ~ Aunt Mary Kay has prayed this over you.
"God shall strengthen your heart." ~ Aunt Mary Kay has prayed this over you.
"Champion of Christ." ~ Mom and Dad, and Breckin have prayed this over you.
"Warrior of Christ...a warrior is loyal to his leader." ~ Grandma Criswell has prayed this over you.
"You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you." ~ Aunt Gina

Cody, did you know that in Joshua 1:9, God asks Joshua, "Have I not commanded you to be of good courage?" Notice the key word in His question...commanded. It is a command of God - not a suggestion - but a command from Him to "be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Listen Cody...you don't need to pray for it...God has already provided the weapons of strength and courage...now it's up to you; to all of us, no matter what you do; what we do, to take up those weapons of His provision, utilizing them for His glory ~ not our own ~ so that the end result is God being glorified.

Cody, we love you...be strong and of good courage...it doesn't say to 'try' it says to 'be'!

We know that you know you are loved, as we are driven by God's love to encourage you to keep pressing on...on and off the mat...looking to Him. Don't look behind you at the regrets; don't look ahead at the what if's...look to Him Who overcomes the shame of regret and commands us to not worry about tomorrow...look to Him...run to Him and NEVER give up as you press on! If there is an action to press...that means there is active opposition taking place. "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10).

Love you so much!
'Mom' Teresa
